About Us

The Copyright Protection Agency was formed in 1996 by Hugh Kearns and Raymond McLennan in Dublin, Ireland.

Hugh was an artist and creator who was fed up having his work stolen by advertising agencies and big business, who had lawyers to fight their corner.

Hugh died in 2006 and is sorely missed.

Raymond had a number of ideas stolen including one that saved a well known insurance company many millions of pounds.

Raymond is a qualified solicitor who specialises in IP.

After overcoming a number of issues regarding the name of the busines, the Copyright Protection Agency became a Limited Company in the UK in 1999 and  is determined to protect the intellectual property of companies and individuals as cheaply and as efficiently as possible.
